What pre-heat actually solves
A clog is a flow problem, not a power problem. Oil has to reach the coil as fast as the coil vaporizes it, and heavy extract moves slowly when it is cold — so the coil fires into a dry wick and the draw comes back thin and harsh. Pre-heat warms the oil first, so it is already moving by the time you pull. If you fill your own carts with extract and terpenes, this is the setting that keeps them consistent.

Four steps to your first pull
Charge it fully
Use the included USB-C cable with any standard USB port or wall adapter, and let the first charge finish before the first session. The light stays on while charging and turns off when it is done.
Seat the cartridge
Thread your 510 cart onto the connection hand-tight and slide it into the housing. Anything up to 2 grams fits. Over-tightening is the fastest way to kill a cartridge, so stop as soon as it seats.
Start at 2.8V
Let a fresh cart sit a few minutes so the wick saturates, then take a short, low draw. Step up to 3.1V or 3.4V only if it comes back thin.
Pre-heat when it is cold
Thick oil and cold weather are the two things that cause clogs. Run pre-heat before the first draw of the day and the hit stays smooth and consistent.

No. The MAG only looks like a pod vape. Behind the shell is a standard 510 thread connection, so it takes any standard 510 cartridge — prefilled or one you fill yourself — up to 2 grams. There are no proprietary pods to buy.
The MAG is compatible with all 510 cartridges up to 2 grams. The cart threads onto the standard 510 connection and sits inside the housing, so it is protected and hidden rather than sticking out the top.
Pre-heat gently warms thick, high-viscosity oil before you draw so it flows to the coil instead of clogging. A double tap of the button runs it for up to 8 seconds at 2.2V, and drawing at any point switches straight to your assigned power mode. It is the setting to use with heavy herbal extract or in cold conditions.
Three quick presses cycle the 650mAh battery through 2.8V, 3.1V and 3.4V, and the light shows which is active: red for 2.8V, blue for 3.1V, green for 3.4V. Lower voltage preserves terpenes and taste; higher voltage moves thicker oil and produces denser vapor. Start at 2.8V and step up only if the draw feels thin.
Both are 650mAh 510 batteries with three voltage settings. The standard Powerslug Battery is a slim stick with the cartridge threaded on top. The MAG encloses the cartridge inside a pod-style shell, fits carts up to 2 grams, and adds a pre-heat function for thick oils.
